Zero-Sum Conducts Annual Local Training and Seminar for Directorate of Urban Land Transport, Bengaluru and Bengaluru Traffic Police

As per the requirement of the Operation and Maintenance of the system implemented under “The Project for Implementation of Advanced Traffic Information and Management System in Core Bengaluru”, Zero-Sum ITS Solutions India Pvt Ltd conducted an Annual Local Training and Seminar, Evaluation and Adjustment session for Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) and Bengaluru Traffic Police. This seminar was conducted as an effort to enhance the Operation and Maintenance of the system. The training and seminar focused on reviewing system performance, sharing operational insights, and making necessary adjustments based on on-ground evaluations. This initiative helped strengthen the sustainability and effectiveness of the advanced traffic systems deployed in Bengaluru. The training and seminar were conducted at DULT office on 12th May 2025 and at Bengaluru Traffic Police Control Center building on 13th May 2025. Day 1 of the seminar and training held at DULT office saw over 50 participants from key Bengaluru Civic, planning, transport and enforcement agencies such as BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) , DULT, BMTC (Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation) and BTP (Bengaluru Traffic Police). Day 2 of the seminar and training held at Bengaluru Traffic Police Control Center building also saw over 50 participants from the above agencies including transport consultants from leading organizations in India.

During the seminar, speakers from India and Japan provided insights on the overview of the Moderato Signalling system, Overview of ATCC, QLM, B-TIC and VMS systems and the Operational and maintenance activities performed, Advances in Vehicle to Everything technologies and Advances in Traffic Safety Products and best practices from Japan. The participants found the seminar and training very useful and posed several queries to the presenters which were answered to the satisfaction. A similar training and seminar will be held again in 2026.
